We see the Tullamore Community Arts Centre as the third piece of the jigsaw puzzle that will complete the cultural district of the town together with the Heritage Centre and the Offaly Historical and Archaeological Society. It will be the first purpose built arts centre in the Midlands region and a unique opportunity to introduce contemporary architecture to the community. Our design aims to create a stimulating place for the performing art, exhibiting art and creating art – while also making provisions for dining and meeting, where young people, the wider community and artists congregate.

Our goal has been to provide a piece of contemporary architecture, which on the one hand seems light and would appeal to the mentality and aspirations of younger people and a wider community and on the other hand a building which is experimental in form and shape and will help to stimulate the artists in general.
